Violin Sizes and Violin Sizing

For violin sizes we have supplied a violin sizing chart. Wherever you rent or buy your violin, or your teacher, should also be able to apply the correct violin sizing techniques to help you fine the correct violin size for your student. Your child will obviously grow into a new violin size. We are usually very anxious to move up to the next violin size because the sound is so much better on the larger violin sizes. We hope you find this violin sizing chart helpful to determine the correct violin sizes for your child through the years. The correct violin size is important because the way the child holds the violin can affect their technique. Above all, no matter how much we want them to move up to a larger violin size, remember that proper technique is more important. If your child moves to a larger violin size too soon, they can ruin their technique.
